It was a great decision, on my part, to trust Phim with my 1st out of country trip. To say the least, she guided us with consistent and easy communications to make the entire trip from the US-airport to the casa: easy. The relationships that she fostered before our arrival was truly top notch. I would never have experienced, enjoyed or have such a passion for Cuba and their people without her planning, historical knowledge, preparation and enthusiasm to share with our group. I must also say that she selected our travel group with perfection. Weeks after the trip, we have remained in touch and are planning a reunion trip!

Here is my experience from my trip to SE Asia with Phim and Passion Travel Services. I am an avid solo traveler and don’t normally prefer to travel with any sort of group, but I knew if I was going to do it with anyone, it would be Phim so I gave it a shot. I must admit that I was thoroughly impressed. Despite the modest cost all of our lodgings were top notch and clearly well researched, also Phim had some truly amazing adventures planned for us. Can’t wait to catch up with her for another trip!

This was my first travel group ever and was super happy about my travel to Cuba in early February, 2020. From the flight to Airbnb, to all the excursions, everything was smooth sailing and simple. I thoroughly enjoyed not having to worry about travel arrangements. Met some amazing folks on the trip and Phim was the best host. I enjoyed our excursions to Vadadero Beach to Viñales Cigar farm, to a night out on the town. It was a nice and light trip where it we opted out of anything we didn’t want to do without pressure. Phim was knowledgeable with Cuba and I felt safe in her hands. I plan on doing more trips w her in the future. Tanzania is next on my bucket list.

First time in Cuba and it will not be my last. The Support the Cuban People Tour was such a humbling and beautiful experience. Here are some of my favorite highlights of the trip: Meeting Sister Teresa at Guarderia Padre Uerain. They run a school for children. Such an amazing & humbling experience. If you are in Havana, donations are always welcome and appreciated. She was such a lovely and sweet lady. My other most favorite part was meeting Enrique Avila Gonzalez, the artist who created the Che Sculpture at the famous Revolutionary Square. It was such an honor to meet the man himself at his home. We were able to see his home art studio, he shared his Che story and enjoyed a nice refreshing cup of mojito prepared for us by Enrique himself w/fresh mints from his garden. The BEST experience EVER!! * My 3rd favorite- our day trip to Vinales. We toured the Cigar farm on horseback, They taught us how cigars are made & processed, they even taught us how to roll a cigar, learned how they grow coffee, talked about their organic guava rum process, and eat lunch made by the locals. So beautiful! Then there was: Fabrica De Arte Cubana (Havana) The FAC is an amazing art gallery filled with unique/exquisite Cuban artistry & talent: paintings, visual arts, photography, and even live music and entertainments. Awesome concept of a “drink card” to get stamped or signed on how many drinks/food you’ve consumed inside the art gallery. Genius! Drinks ranged from $2-$4 each at the most and food was dirt cheap. A must see when you are in Cuba! Thank you @passiontravelservices for making my trip so memorable and most of all thank you for opening my eyes to beautiful Cuba.

I am happy to serve as a reference for Passion Travel Services and Ms. Phim Gilberry as the tour operator. I went on a trip to Thailand with her in April/May, 2017. I was one of her first clients. I was so impressed with her professionalism, quality of the tour/itinerary that I sent my two daughters on that same trip the following year as a college and high school graduation present. They too enjoyed the tour with Ms. Gilberry, so much so that one of my daughters and I have signed up to visit Egypt with her this summer. In addition to the tours being well-organized and professional, it is also so enjoyable. Ms. Gilberry is so easy and fun to travel with. I love not having to think or do anything other than enjoy when I am traveling with her because I trust that she is always on top of things at all times. Now that I‘ve known her for a while, I know this is something she is passionate about and I can’t think of another person more appropriate or more perfect to organize and lead this trip.

I took my first travel tour with Passion Travel Services in FEB 2020 to Cuba. Phim Gilberry was a wonderful host! Booking the trip with her online was such an easy process. She booked my flight with JetBlue and took care of the international details, regarding the Visa, etc. Our Airbnb was very nice, spacious, updated. My housemates (Casa 2) and the Casa 1 group were lovely people that I enjoyed sharing my time with. Phim planned a fun-filled itinerary for the duration of the 5 day trip.

Good Afternoon, 

I am writing this letter to strongly recommend the travel services of Ms. Phim Gilberry’s Passion Travel Services. I recently used Ms. Gilberry’s travel service on an amazing three city tour of Thailand from June 12-24 2019. 

We began our adventure in Bangkok with a Temple and Grand Palace tour. Then we experienced Thai culture on the Floating Markets. We ate amazing tropical fruits, Thai noodles and mango sticky rice. Ms. Gilberry provided us a personal guided tour and history lesson on the temples.

Next ,we traveled to the cool mountain city of Chiang Mai. The Night Bazaar offered us a bargain shopper’s paradise while the local food vendors provided us the opportunity to eat at Anthony Bourdain’s (late host of CNN’s Parts Unknown) favorite restaurant in Thailand. Ms. Gilberry was able to speak Thai and was able to obtain incredible discounts.  We then visited the Karen Long Neck Village and learned about their cultural traditions. After a traditional bamboo rafting tour of the river we provided elephant care for three elephants. We ended this leg of the tour with a group dinner at a five star resort complete with a traditional Thai dance performance.  

We ended our tour on the coastal city of Phuket. The highlight of the experience for me was the ATV tour up Kata Mountain to the Big Buddha atop the mountain. It was both a thrilling and spiritual journey.  Finally we toured James Bond Island and took a canoeing tour of Hong Island. Ms. Gilberry provided us a once in a life time adventure.  

I feel very confident in recommending Ms. Gilberry’s travel service. Her tour was well organized, offered outstanding value and provided need rest days between city tours. I am looking forward to my next tour with Passion Travel Services.
