One of the highlights of my recent visit to Peru was no doubt, Rainbow Mountain. Like most visitors, my major must do was to see Machu Picchu, so I thought if I could make it work, I would fit in Rainbow Mountain.
According to legend, the club was named after a serial killer named Carlos Ayala who used to kidnap children from Trinidad, bring them to the cave, and murder them. This took place around 1879 and the guy was executed a few years after.
During my last and 4th trip to Cuba, I decided to venture outside of Havana to see what the rest of Cuba had to offer. I didn’t get to all the major places but I did make it to Trinidad. If you are considering Trinidad while in Cuba, consider doing a tour of the Valley of the Sugar Mills.
